VST Warranty Policy

All VST products carry 12 / 24 Months warranty  based on the product as explained in the operator manual supplied at the time of Purchase . Please consult the Authorized Dealer for detailed understanding .

Do’s and Don’ts

  1. Read all operating instructions before commencing to operate tractor.
  2. Carry out all maintenance tasks timely without fail.
  3. Ensure that all safety shields are in place & in good condition. 
  4. Keep the air cleaner clean. 
  5. Ensure that the correct grade of lubricating oils are used and that they are replenished and changed at the recommended intervals.
  6. Watch the oil pressure gauge or warning light and investigate any abnormality immediately.
  7. Check that there are no leakages in radiator cap for efficient operation of cooling system. 
  8. Keep the cooling system filled with clean water and anticorrosive coolant. 
  9. In Extreme cold weather (Sub Zero) condition use anti-freeze mixture. 
  10. Fill in fuel from reputed authorized fueling station only, in case of storage please ensure to Keep all fuel in clean storage and use a filter when filling the tank.
  11. Attend to minor adjustments and repairs as soon as necessity is apparent. When in doubt, consult Nearest VST tractor dealer.
  12. Before and after the season have your tractor / machine checked by Nearest VST dealer. 
  13. For Oil Immersed brakes (OIB), use only VST Recommended oil. ( for Tractors  )
  14. Shift into low gear when driving down steep hills. ( for Tractors  )
  15. Keep draft control lever fully down when not is use. ( for Tractors  )
  1. Run the engine with the air cleaner disconnected / damaged filter element.
  2. Operate the tractor/ Machine or engine while lubricating / washing / refueling the tractor.
  3. Allow the tractor/ Machine to run out of diesel fuel, which will lead to air being sucked into fuel system. 
  4. Tamper with the fuel injection pump. If the seal is broken the warranty becomes void. 
  5. Allow the engine to run idle for a long period.
  6. Run the engine if it is not firing on all cylinders.
  7. Ride the brake or clutch pedal. This will result in excessive wear of the brake linings, clutch driven member and clutch release bearing. 
  8. Wash the tractor without covering alternator with a polythene bag. 
  9. Keep engine running while washing the tractor/ Machine as water can be sucked through the air cleaner causing damage to the engine.
  10. Stop the engine/cut off fuel while idling at high RPM.
  11. Mount or dismount from the right side ( For Tractor )
  12. Tamper with hydraulic control levers upper limit stop ( For Tractor).
  13. Use draft control lever for lifting of implements ( For Tractor)
  14. Start the engine with the P.T.O. engaged. ( For Tractor)
  15. Run the P.T.O. in high (P2) range for Non-Recommended Applications. ( For Tractor)
  16. Use the governor control lever (hand throttle) while driving on roads. ( For Tractor)
  17. Move the hydraulic levers rearward when the Transport valve is closed. ( For Tractor)
  18. Allow water, diesel or oil to fall on the starter motor. ( For Tractor)
  19. Operate the tractor with a light front end. Install front wheel weights, if the front end of the tractor tends to lift. ( For Tractor)

VST After Sales Service support

Labour Free services are available on all VST products during the warranty period subject to fulfillment of following conditions -

  1. The services to be availed within the specified hours or days from the date of sale of machine whichever occurs first.
  2. All free and paid services as per the given schedule to be availed at authorized Dealerships only.
  3. Cost of oil, gaskets and other jobs requested by customer which are not covered in the periodic maintenance schedule are chargeable.
  4. In case of accident during the free services period, the cost for the actual labour and parts has to be borne entirely by the customer.

For the purpose of better maintenance of VST products "Service Camps" in prominent locations are organized by VST authorized dealers regularly, all customers are advised to stay connected with the nearest dealers and take best advantage of such camps
